An officer with the Hendersonville Police Department was fired after an investigation determined he was found to be falsely clocking in for an off-duty job for years.

Hendersonville, Henderson County offices to close Jan. 27

The closures come in response to still dangerous road conditions after sleet and freezing rain over the weekend.

Crews raced against the clock Saturday to keep roads and parking lots safe while snow, sleet, and frozen rain fell across Middle Tennessee.

The city will be under nighttime curfew after the emergencies go into effect Jan. 24. The county announced an emergency winter shelter.
